1. Create a noiseless space for each learning program

Start by opening a new, dedicated workspace for your learning program. You can either copy and paste content from an existing workspace or easily create a completely new layout with our intuitive drag-and-drop editor.

2. Send invitations to the shared workspace

Once you're happy with the way your workspace looks, you can invite the learning program participants. Simply upload their email addresses to send each one a personal link to the workspace. After that, the learning community is only one click away: No usernames, passwords, or training required.

3. Create and support learning cohorts

If you're facilitating a large group, you may want to create different learning cohorts with different access levels. For instance, you might want to create private pages for certain teams or only invite a few people to take part in a particular discussion.

 

4. Encourage collaboration and social learning

Invite the participants to discuss, collaborate, and brainstorm using any combination of text, video, and pictures. After all, according to the 70/20/10 rule of learning and development, up to 20% of learning happens in developmental relationships.

5. Use AI clustering to analyze discussions

When you're ready to draw conclusions from a particular discussion, you can use Howspace's built-in AI-powered clustering feature to analyze the data. Simply choose a discussion, and Howspace will return with a short summary of the most important themes and topics.

6. Share videos to create empathy

Not everything has to be communicated in writing. Especially if you're running an e-learning or blended learning course, videos can be a great way to create empathy between remote participants. You can  ask the participants to upload their own videos directly from their phones, or add their favorites from YouTube and Vimeo.

7. Iterate based on feedback

Every learning experience is a two-way street. Howspace allows you to create different kinds of feedback loops, and iterate the learning program based on the participants' comments. Create polls or ask questions, the choice is yours.

8. Offer 1-2-1 coaching to enrich the experience

Sometimes you'll want to enrich the learning experience with 1-2-1 sessions and small-group activities. Invite the learning program participants to book appointments for individual coaching sessions from a list of alternative time slots. As a facilitator, you can manage the number of available seats for each session to ensure that each participant gets enough support.

9. Create and assess assignments

Use assignments to support 1-2-1 coaching and on-the-job learning. Howspace allows you to customize assignments for each learning program participant and track the learning progress of each individual.
